Problematic Assembly

Motor burnt out when not much more than a year old.
I bought this almost by accident as I didn't realise that it was an updated model of the same machine.
It does say that it has a lifetime guarantee against the motor burnout but I'm not sure how this will work as I have no invoice from the company who supplied it.
Assembly was supposed to be easy but was anything but. I fitted all the parts together only to find that a knob which held the electronic display to the handlebars did not fit the hole that it was supposed to screw into. I have since had two more knobs supplied that were exactly the same size. I removed the display from the handle grips and found a second screw hole that the knob did fit. However this now means that the console is no longer central on the handlebars (probably about 2 inches out). Perhaps a minor quibble but I would prefer things to be right when purchased new.
My second problem occurred when I tried to fold the item away. The treading part was too far over to one side and would not pass the handlebars when folding. I have rectified this by adding three washers to one side of the machine after loosening it on one side so that the tread part now sits straight with the handlebars.
Overall a little disappointing, especially as I do not recall having assembly problems with the first machine a couple of years ago.

Parcel arrived somewhat slowly (over a week). Case was very scratched but discs were clean and worked fine.
