It's a good mixer with a serious design flaw.

Kitchen Aid made a fine mixer when they made this one. But, the design is flawed. Considering it's named as a 'Professional mixer', i assumed the entire head would have a hinge assembly allowing one to tilt the head up and down. As all pros know, tilting the head is the easiest way to change out the different paddle, beaters, etc. This model does not allow the head to tilt. The bowl raises up and lowers down easy enough but changing blades in this position is too messy!
