High quality at a reasonable price.
It seems to be a harder metal, able to take more abuse without snapping in half, or shedding pieces. The price is very reasonable since you don't have to replace it as often.

it's unusual and pretty entertaining.
The good part is that there are many colors with changing pens. The only negative thing I can say is, that the pen cartridges get stuck sometimes and you have to push them back in with your fingernails. you also have to be careful when lining them up. Seems like if you push them just enough to change the color, they don't get stuck as much. Trying to explain this to a little kid will be a challenge.

This device is a weird looking gadget, but works like a champ. Happy I bought it.
