There was a power cut, when I got home I could see the torch was on, which was great, I didn't have to try and find a torch or candles in the dark.
Very good to have, as you approach the area where the unit is plugged in, torch comes on when dark, then goes of after a short time. I have one in the kitchen, then another at the top of the stairs.
Can definitely recommend, you don't have to keep switching the light on.
Very handy to have around the home.
