It works
I used it to repair a cracked home generator plastic gas tank I could not get a replacement for .Had tried to seal it with various types of sealers and would not work, It takes a little practice to get the hang of it.since the plastic material does not liquefy and flow into cracks like tin solder.For this reason it is important to heat and melt the crack with the iron as you heat and apply the plastic welding rods
