While the film is a classic, this print needs restoration or conservation and sharper focus.

Miniseries Version of Ben Hur
Gritty , realistic version of the classic story , albeit a bit overlong with a tendency toward too much overuse of sex scenes. The 1959 and 1926 versions are better, but worth watching if it could be edited. The DVD itself is good.
