Score vs. soundtrack
Note that this release is for the film score minus any accompanying soundtrack. So this CD consists only of original pieces written for the film - i.e. all the short instrumental bits used to build up tension between scenes. Imagine my disappointment when I found out that Tortoise's 'Djed' (the theme when the guys pull up to the railroad track) was not included on the disc. It's also worth noting that the originally announced tracklist is inconsistent with the actual printing, as there is no 'Variation VI' track anywhere on the CD.

A quick cash-in?
A short music video anthology DVD with a runtime of about 30 minutes. The standard film soundtrack is included on a separate audio CD as well.
The videos are all mash-ups of segments from the film, with the cast and characters completely removed from each scene. There aren't any bonus features to speak of, except some trailers and a couple of additional soundtrack elements that aren't part of the main chapter list for some reason.
The cover description erroneously claims this collection could be interpreted as an 'alternate' version of the film, but the content neither contains a narrative nor does it follow the events of the film in any linear way. At best, the whole thing feels like a series of fan-made music videos like one would find on YouTube.
All in all, not a very good value. This would have been a lot more appropriate as a bonus supplement to the film's DVD or Blu-ray release, not something that should have been released as a stand-alone product.
