A visit with a with an old friend.
8 von 8 finden das hilfreich This is such a wonderful collection. It brings back such marvelous memories. My family broke up when I was 8 years old and I moved to a new town where I knew no one. I was so lost. The one thing that helped me get through the experience was that even though we had to live in a motel for some time, it had a television. I had gone from a country girl to a city girl. My sisters and I watched Family Affair. It gave me hope that even though my life had change completely, I still had my mom and sisters. Buffy and Mrs. Beasley gave me a lot of comfort. Buffy, Jody, Cissy, Uncle Bill and Mr. French did a great deal to make my life a little happier. They were marvelous actors, even if I wasn't old enough to know it wasn't real. I will cherish this collection always.

Great Movie - Terrible packaging!!

However, whoever manufactured the dvd case is a moron. Though these cases have continued to cheapen over the years, this in without a doubt the most ridiculous case I have ever seen. Upon opening the dvd case you discover it really is just a partial shell full of holes and lends no protection for your dvd. I have purchased a number of dvds over the past 10 years in any number of different types of cases, but now they are making them just look like there is a case. A hole could accidentally be poked through the front or the back of the case (if you can call it that) and the dvd damaged because only the dvd artwork is covering the dvd. It squeezes like a roll of toilet paper. No substance there to protect what you spent your good hard-earned money on.
