Adequate for most needs.
Adequate for most needs. My single socket bathroom fixture bulb was 100w. With this spreader I can put four LED 7.5w bulbs rated at 60w equivalent in the sockets for a 30w power expense and get a 240w equivalent light output. Hospital bright light in the bathroom when I want it; but I keep two bulbs partially unscrewed and use two 7.5w bulbs for 120w equivalent light for my everyday needs. More light than the old 100w bulb for only 15 watts worth of electric power. The looks are not elegant, so do not try this at your home if you eyesore easily.

A legacy dream, that runs Linux Mint 19
I like these legacy ASUS P5B SE boards so much that I’ve bought 8 of them over the years at about an average of $65.00 each, including shipping, usually from China. They are well supported by the manufacturer’s web site, today as I post this review. These boards have legacy expansion slots, 1 x PCI-E x16, 2 x PCI-E x1, 3 x PCI 2.2, a floppy disk drive connection and an IDE connection. I put in EVGA Nvidia GeForce GT 730 2GB DDR3 graphics cards. They run well with an Intel® Core™2 Quad [Q-6700]. I’ve flashed all the bios to version 1103 successfully.
A decade and more ago the ‘capacitor plague’ was killing off my computer stuff so often, I could not depend on my white box home built computers to boot up. I spent too much time rebuilding Windows 98 & XP hardware systems when they died, and I became motivated to have plenty of spare parts on hand.
The Murphy’s Law correlate applies, “If you have it, you will not need it.” So, of course, none of the P5B boards have failed in six years or so of regular use, as did so many boards and peripherals previously.
I waited for the ASUS P5B SE boards to be on a special clearance or a quantity sale to add them to my collection of spares.
Recently, I bought an ASUS P7P55D-E LX ATX Motherboard; with an Intel Core i3-530 and 4GB DDR3 thrown in, as my attempt to keep up with the trends, (;-)}
