The flavor was odd because of the product age.
With all food products it should be mandatory that the Expiration dates be listed in the products/foods description... I've had this product flavor before from a grocery store & loved it. Both box's that I got were so close to the Expiration date that they had to be stored in the freezer until ready to use or the bars would go bad. Even do that they still taste a bit odd. Unsatisfied
