NHL 2K9 IS A VERY GOOD GAME... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO SPORTS FANS...IF YOU NEVER PLAYED HOCKEY BEFORE , I SUGGEST YOU GET A COPY.... GRAPHICS ARE NICE, PLAYER FACES NEED WORK... PRESENTATION IS NOTHING SPECIAL, BUT ITS GOOD....
SKATING IS GREAT, AND PLAYER MOVMENTS ARE NICE... MECHANICS AND CONTROL HAS A GOOD FEEL TO IT.. GOOD JOB WITH THE ENGINE 2K....
OVERALL, I GIVE THIS GAME 8.5 OUT OF 10 BUT I AM A TOUGH CRITIC.....
IN GENERAL :
THE WHOLE IDEA OF NEX-GEN GAMING IS NOT ALL THAT...YES GAMES AND CONSOLES GIVE YOU MORE REALISM, BETTER GRAPHICS, GREAT SOUND, ECT... BUT FOR THE PRICE OF THE CONSOLES , GAMES, AND ACCESSORIES.... I AM NOT AMUSED...
I HAVE BEEN PLAYING GAMES SINCE ATARI, COLECOVISION, NINTENDO, SEGA, ECT... I HAVE OWNED ALMOST EVERY CONSOLE FROM DAY 1....
YES THINGS HAVE IMPROVED A LOT, BUT WE AS CONSUMERS ARE STILL BEING OVER CHARGED... IF THESE COMPANIES STOP THE WAR ON LICENSE (EA MADDEN, NCAA FOOBALL, NCAA BASKETBALL, NASCAR) SOMEONE WILL PUT OUT A GREAT GAME !!!
THERE IS NO COMPETITION, LIKE THE GOOD OLD DAYS, SO COMPANY'S CAN MAKE GAMES AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SALES.... EXAMPLE (NOT TO PICK ON EA, BUT THATS THE BEST EXAMPLE) IF YOU WANT TO PLAY FOOTBALL, NCAA OR MADDEN ARE YOUR ONLY CHOICES... (REAL PLAYERS, TEAMS, STADIUMS, ECT) EA OWNS THE RIGHTS, SO NO OTHER COMPANY CAN MAKE A REAL FOOTBALL GAME... AND UNFORTUNATELY EA ISN'T ALWAYS THE BEST...
THE LICENSE WAR MUST END... I HAVE NOT SEEN A GOOD BOXING GAME IN OVER 2 YEARS.... FIGHT NIGHT 3 WAS THE LAST ONE......AND THEY FELL SHORT ON BOXERS... NO GEORGE FORMAN, ROCKY MARCIANO, LARRY HOLMES, TYSON, KLITCHKO, LEWIS, ... I COULD GO ON... END THE LICENSE WAR...

New Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2010
this game is a lot of fun .. nice graphics .. 2 issues i have : 1 - feels like your steering the car from the middle, not the actual front wheels of the vehicle.(but you get used to it and its all good) 2 - need to be multi-player offline, that's a major draw back . this game is too much fun and the developers screwed up by not making this multi-player offline .. (it multi-player online , via xbox live.. which of course i have .. l.o.l.)
other than that, the game is cool .. i recommend it for single player and online game play .. but if you have buddies or a family member, and you play offline often or don't have xbox live , you will not play it much , cause taking turns sucks .. l.o.l. if you like BURNOUT(race game), you will love this game ..

NBA 2K8 or NBA LIVE 08
4 von 6 finden das hilfreich NBA LIVE 08 has great graphics and is actually a fun game to play. Unfortunatelty, thats about it. Yes it's improved dramatically this year;
LIVE 08 is smooth, glitches have been fixed, and game play is less arcade and more simulated.
HOWEVER, NBA 2K8 is as realistc as you can get to the real thing. if you want to play real basketball, go with NBA 2K8.
but if you want something for the kids, get LIVE 08.
I WILL PROBABLY BUY BOTH. LIVE 08 to play with my NEPHEWS; NBA 2K8 to play with
MY CREW !!! ONLINE.
