Good for cleaning potentiometer controls.
I purchased this product in order to clean the volume control potentiometer in an old amplifier and squirting the liquid through holes adjacent to the connections has done the trick. The volume control which was previously noisy and unreliable when rotated is now smooth and quiet.

Filling a solar system with the Meibes Filling Hose
I used a washing machine isolator valve to connect this pump to my solar system and I removed the spring from the plunger because I found it difficult to operate with it there. I removed the elbow from the end as a straight connection was easier in my case. The pump is of a weight and design which is clearly good quality and it works very well. I have left it attached to the system so that I can pump a small amount in as air is expelled and it is easy - it just takes a moment to add more fluid. Pumping in, say, 5 litres would be easy and not take long. There are other designs with containers but they would have to be cleaned out after use and are bigger to store away. This pump pumps straight out of the original fluid container.

Good replacement product. Not easy to fit.
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich Apparently some PURE DAB radios suffer from screen failure after a few years and this product is a maintenance replacement for certain models. Good thing is that it works and so prolongs the life of a valuable radio. Downside is that the display is white whereas the original was yellow and so less bright at night, and also it is difficult to fit. When fitting, soldering is not necessary but many screws and small plugs must be removed to access the space where the screen is fitted. And plugging in the replacement screen ribbon cable is also a delicate operation. And obviously reassembly of the radio takes a while.
