used it today, checked it with IR laser pointer temperature meter and they both indicated close to the same temperature.
Works fine, appears exactly as the original so guessing that it is probably genuine.

very handy tool, check carefully for existing wires before using.
works best with 2 people, one to run drill and the other guiding the drill in the wall. Fiberglass insulation likes to wrap around the drill, run the drill backwards until you contact wood helps somewhat.

Very convenient to have flashing/fading effects w/o complicated circuits or micro-controller.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich They work well, interesting effect as they start relatively synchronized and gradually fall out of synch until they are random colors, fading in and out at different times. Most interesting when they are only on long enough to fall out of synch as that transition is fun to watch. Once they are all randomly changing the most interesting effect is past. Also, the fewer LEDs the better as the effect is diluted with too many LEDs
