Keep your group together, use Rotosound strings.
I first put the RS 66 set on my brand new Rickenbacker 4001s in 1974. My affinity for piano bass tone was born. Even today the sound of a fresh set Rotosounds sets the bar for what should come next... tone, my tone. Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker, Steinberger, Kubicki, Music Man; four string and five string; fretted and fretless; all my basses sound best with Rotosound RS 66 sets. Always.
