My mistake, not the supplier's
The filter was the right shape and appearance, but I apparently chose the wrong size to fit my particular Craftsman 3000 engine. I cannot hold the manufacturer responsible for that, and it isn't worth going to the trouble of returning it.

Worked fine
I had purchased a pack of 2 Nordic Pure filters a year ago, and it worked just fine, so I ordered another pack of 2 which I will use in the future. I think a filter can go for a year without changing, as we see very little dust in the house, and allergies don't seem to show up to an unusual degree. Merv 12 is pretty efficient filtration.

Small but good
This battery is slightly shorter than the original but it charges okay and has good, lasting power.
