Excellant centrifical pump for price but needs modification.
22 von 22 finden das hilfreich The Chinese copied a pump like this made in Europe. It has the same missing drill hole they had.
The inlet needs a 3/4" hole drilled through the iron casting in the centerline of the rotor and then close ( seal off ) the original inlet hole. Take the pump apart by removing three screws and you will see what I mean. Do this and you will get at least four times more flow. Very easily done in a drill press. Also add a 3amp or 4amp fuse so if something should clog and stop the motor, it will not be burned out
I use this pump for the drain on my washing machine, with this mod. Very successful.
