For a political junkie, Yes! For a chill-out audiophile, no!
I have zero problem with a performer, group or artist having political beliefs that differ from mine. I have no problem with a track or two being outright political. I don't care about that.
I like down beat and chill out music. I like neo lounge and I love Bossa Nova.
Whatr I don't like is a barrage of political messages and rallying cries. Even revolutionary groupd back in the 1960's like "Jeffersoon Airplane" would call people to their feet in a song like "volunteers" but would give us a great love song, or song for just really seeing the beauty in the times we are in right now.
Not so with this album. The mixing supreb. The production flawless as we fans of TC expect. A value of product? Yes...two full lp's. TC always delivers
In a world that is still so on edge, so much information and misinformation I listen to music to sometimes.....sometimes escape from this nervous world. Art andf expression today seems to only mean progressive politics
Something that the Marxists would be proud of.
I am still a fan. I like their modd, canvas and defining sound of their times.....been a fan since 1997....but this album?????? If you are a person on the progressive slant and are addicted to the cable news you probably will love it. The rest of us who just want chillax album, not this time.

Nineteen-Sixty-Something
I ordered a pair because I needed some new frames and these looked okay...well I got them and I was more than impressed. So I ordered a second pair for "future backups"
Not so "big" and heavy that they "look" thrifted. Not too "copy-cat-hipster" that you look like you are joining the bandwagon with all of those phonies (hipsters).
They just look like glasses that your dad, your uncle or grandfather wore in the 1960's without being "military" issue or looking like you belong at a "Marx / Lenin" rally. Glasses that you would see in black and white or even in yellowly filmy color photos from those long ago times.
Something people "just wore" and something that still has a kink of solid, retro style that we all expect from "Penguin" that is durable, a value and just fun.
