Rich, enchanting - for those who love ancient Greek history re-woven into a new fantasy series - this is it.
Wonderful and sophisticated story told in three books, this being the 3rd and final installment. For those who love ancient Greek history and Merlin as the legendary figure best known as an enchanter or wizard featured in Arthurian legend and medieval Welsh poetry - you will both admire the effort by its author, Robert Holdstock. It is apparent that Mr. Holdstock loves his craft and has researched Homer, Hesiod, Greek history and drama. At times it almost feels like reading The Illiad.
