was fooled on this one
this reel was modified from the original. the clicker was a poorly done addition. the original bearings have been replaced with brass bushings. whoever came up with these mods, espesially the clicker, ruined an other wise very nice reel.

I've used these before but they are hard to find in stores anymore. These work well for gum health

nice little reel

I prefer magnetic cast control for surf casting, unfortunatly the magnetic controls in this reel are poorly designed, useless . the spool is very fast, great for fishing from a SoCal sport boat or kayak where the main cast control is the casters thumb. Do not buy this reel with distance casting in mind
