when the mood is for listening to the suave Bryan Ferry and talented accompanists
an extra special HD-CD version of not only Roxy Music's best album, but one of the best albums of the entire 1980's. It is compelling listening from start to finish, the vocals on the title track are sublime. It is a blend of musical styles that should appeal to a wide range of listeners. It would be almost churlish to find any significant faults, the production values are high, and it came just in time for the potential dynamic range of the CD format, here further enhanced with HD-CD.
I highly recommend it to be added to your collection, sit back and relax, or get up and dance to its superb sounds.

fascinating motor bike journey across the cities and wildernesses of Europe and Asia, to USA, Ewan and Charley are resilient & witty
the episodes are well set out on three discs, with some interesting bonus extras
hopefully the good quality DVD master tapes will eventually be upgraded to be made in HD, on blu-ray disc, to even more so enhance the spectacular scenery, in some of the remotest places on Earth, the wilds of Sibera (rivers and forests) and Mongolia (barren, cold marshes & plains), or the old world charming cities and towns of Central Europe and surrounds.
