Model making screwdriver set.
This is a lovely set of screwdrivers.... to be quite honest I have spent tens of thousands of pounds on hand and engineering tools in the last 50 years. I have wealth of experience of buying those expensive hand tools from America ( don’t think lm allowed to use the name of the make) the ones in the flash red boxes, you know the ones!
Well I have to say I was faced with a model steam engine with 1/8” diameter finisher head screws but with only a 0.014” width slot, and I had dozens of them to deal with and they had to left in exhibition quality order without any burrs what so ever!
Needless to say this set of screwdrivers did the job exceedingly well, I just stoned down the broadest blade to 0.014”. I have to say the steel was nice and hard, nothing poor about the quality of that! It has worked exceptionally well.
I’m well pleased.

Sadly, typical mass produced Chineese quality
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich a very poorly engineered article. various hinging components that are normally brass or aluminium on a quality pair of binoculars, are made of flimsy plastic on these. there is a lot of endfloat / backlash on the main focusing spindle which in conjunction with the lack of rigidity of the eye piece hinging render them fairly useless. accurate repeatability on focusing is not possible.
Frankly on the face of it they had a great spec, but sadly the laws of fiscal common sense dictate that something of that spec AND of merchantable quality isn't going to arrive on your doorstep for £25!

3 Output POWER SUPPLY
I had a Newall DRO on a milling machine, which had a failed power board in it. Luckily I knew an electronics engineer whom was able to investigate the problem and told what to look for. I easily found this product, and it does what ‘it says on the tin’. I had a first class result with this board and only a few pounds labour, compared with a replacement cost of many hundreds.
GOOD PRODUCT, ACCURATELY DESCRIBED, REASONABLY PRICED! You can’t say much better than that
