I facet gemstones for area jewelers, and for eBay as time allows.
I am a Graduate Gemologist with GIA diploma. I do not have an eBay store.
I take all photos of gems with daylight equivalent lighting. The photos do emphasize the unique inclusions that may be present and verify their origin and the identity of the gem as pictured. The photos are not enhanced other than by centering the image of the gem. I ship each of my gems in an individual gem box. The box carries a label that specifies the type of gem, the origin location, the cut pattern, the carat weight, the wholesale value, the size in mm and the GIA color definition, among other details.
I apprenticed faceting with the late Walther Gludt, who in turn learned in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, the center of quality European gemcraft. My gems satisfy the precision required of most optical objects. I often meet Tiffany's faceting requirements (stated in my listing if so).
