Good mirror, just doesn't match later cx500.
This is a very nice Honda-style mirror, seems to be well-made and well-packaged, works as expected so far, and the optics are acceptable. If you are looking to replace your mirrors with a matching set, no problems.
However, for those looking to match one existing stock cx500d mirror, I can't recommend it. It is a different mirror: the stem is quite a bit longer and the bends are set at a higher angle. I'd guess the specs were taken from older 70s Honda stock. Technically, it is "compatible" in the sense that it threads into the original socket, has the same general shape, and is functional, but it is not really close to the stock mirror I was looking for.
