Porter Cable Jig Saw
The Porter Cable Jig Saw seems to be well made,,feels right and works great! My last jigsaw was a "yellow",and was a total ,worthless P.O.S wasted lump of cash ! I will admit that the yellow tool was from the mid /late 90's when yellow tools were very poor quality,But,tell ya what,,I will never purchase another yellow tool again.
I am a 35 year professional veteran of the trades. I have owned several Porter Cable tools in the last ten years,all have been more than satisfactory for the price, and actually seem to be getting better.I believe they are the best "made in China/American name " tool available .although long term testing on this particular tool is not available ,,my first use of it was "wow! nice jigsaw". All my other Porter Cable tools have been long lasting under constant hard use,equal to other name brand tools like Hitachi ,,Makita and Bosch.
and if you can find one of Porter Cables 4.5 gal twin tank, oil crankcase, compressors (for some reason discontinued ) buy it ! ,,,amazing value!!

the problem with product reviews
the problem with product reviews is that these parts have not had any time on them. How is it possible to rate or evaluate the quality of a product not thoroughly tested? Ask me again in 18 months.
