Bad connection.
The bulbs of this nature come in two forms of connection, which makes them non-interchangeable. Locating this item on the market, and purchasing, was the alternative to discarding the lamp. The cost, however, was more than the initial cost of the lamp. I would have been better off to switch to a lamp using more universal bulbs.

Shower Curtain Hanger Repair
The product is expensive, for what it is. The only place that the product could be located, however.
