great for any student, good or bad at math
Math has definitely always been my struggle area so I bought 2 different SAT math books. I ended up only using this one, the significantly cheaper one. This book is organized wonderfully, it helps you prioritize each subsection/topic in each chapter by frequency that it appears on the SAT. It was pretty accurate from what I saw on the actual SAT. it really helped, especially with some stuff I'd never even heard of , which did in fact appear on the SAT. I'm recommending it to all my friends, but I'm not sure if it's good for somebody taking the new March 2016 version. I took the SAT In December and still did pretty bad but I improved 60 points from what I got on the PSAT math section my sophomore year.(I'm a junior now) I will be studying this book more before I retake in January. This is great review for any student. It doesn't matter if you're aiming for a 500 or a 800-this book WILL help. Also, I highly recommend using the free math flashcards available on their website. They were helpful and covered a lot of essential info. Also I recommend using their vocabulary flashcards also available online for the reading section(they have tons of different sets and a lot of the words were on the SAT so it helped me with a lot of the questions and on the essay) if reading isn't your strong point I suggest also buying their reading book.
