little esc taht could
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I purchased this speed control to use in a 1/32 scale live steam ship. What?! , you say?. I am building a live steam tug boat 1/32 scale, and I am trying to employ as much detail as I can. the ship is powered by a SATIO TDR-3 steam engine. but like real steam ships they had a dynamo for power generation. I used a really small Hex Tronic HXM2730 1300 KV motor for this. It had the best resemblance to a early nineteen hundreds " dynamo" I could find. My problem. finding an ESC that would power this small brushless to turn over that steam engine and push the ship. The whole theory for this is that IF the ship was to loose steam power while "out to sea" a thermo switch turns on the " dynamo" and you will be able to get back to shore. Now why this ESC?. I'm thinking its the ability to adjust the timing. I tried three other speed controls and non of them would correctly run that motor under that much load. This one did, with ease.

It's a small world
pretty cool, wish I had bought this many years ago. being a modeler, every thing is small. all my machines on my work bench, like my mini lathe, drill press and grinder along with the projects im working on. Always used a full sized vacuum with a small brush. it worked but not like this set.
