Gas Tube roll pins

These are harder steel than what I tried before. The end didn't mushroom like another roll pin did when using pliers to squeeze it into the same gas block. I was sent 11 pins in the order which I appreciate too!

Cast a broad light

Have had these lights in the back yard illuminating the fences/trees for the past 20+ years. They've held up reasonably well. Connections need to be cleaned and played with occasionally, but the aluminum housings are still good. Ground spikes have fused with the roots in the soil now and the units can't be moved without destroying the base pole. I use plastic polish used for headlights to brighten the lens every few years. Changed the bulbs out with 2W LED and they are much brighter. Wanted some back up lights expecting the originals to begin deteriorating eventually. Too bad they don't make these anymore.

Goo is good

These tubes are perfect for the mtn bike. We have lots of thorns in our area and use these goo filled tubes along with the anti puncture strips that line the inside of the tire. I'd rather have the added weight than a flat when I'm on the trail. At the price of $30 for 6 tubes, I couldn't resist. These cost over $10ea locally. I'm going to keep one on the bike, just in case when on the trails at Lake Tahoe. Had goo coming out of the side walls last time I was up there, but filling it a couple times with the air pump got me down the hill.
