London Bridge is falling down
The book was typical of Peter Spier's books. Great illustrations that match with the song of London bridge is falling down. It gave historical information of the London Bridge which was very good. But it is one of my least favorite books by Peter Spier. If I'd been to London and knew the area, it might have been more meaningful. I like his US books, biblical themed and other nursery rhyme books better. This book was listed as good condition and was not as far as quality.

Great
I did like these stories. I am an adult but these were written to children to learn about nature. They are excellent teaching tools to learn the habits of animals and how they hunt, live and raise their young. Old Mother Nature is the giver of all things in these books and of course it is God who made the earth and all in it. These are great stories.

The Star Spangled Banner
A wonderful book that explains to children, and just as importantly some adults, what the Star Spangled Banner is all about. The illustrations are moving. All children should read this book and be taught to appreciate the flag, what it stands for and what it means to be a citizen of the United States of America. Hundreds of thousands of lives have been sacrificed over the years in wars defending the freedoms all of us enjoy today. Most kids and many adults have no idea how it all happened. I might add that the author and the illustrator of this book is an immigrant who made this country his own and obviously loved it evident in the pages of this book and another one about our constitution. Highly recommended.
