Personal war story,Flag raising Marines, Iwo Jima WW11
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Mt brother in-law was a decorated war hero from the 24th Infantry Division, that served in Iwo Jima and the Pacific during WW11. My son was very close to him, and reads everything he can about that war. I wanted to buy it for him. He was not in the least disappointed in this true story of war and heroism. He said it was really difficult to put down. For him it depicted the reality of the battles on an island that was full of tunnels, minefields, unbearable heat,miserable terrain, insects, and Japanese soldiers determined to fight, kill, or be killed in order to retain that island. The story of this war and its aftermath, was written by the son of Flag raising Marine John Bradley, and is a truly interesting book.

I buy a Lang calendar every year. Love the quality
