  I wanted a 2nd smoothing plane. Ordered the new Stanley sweetheart. Sent it straight back absolute cheap garbage found this old record plane on ebay. Arrived today fully restored to an unbelievable standard. Thrilled with it. Been a bench joiner/cabinet maker for over 40 years so I am a bit fussy advice to all young lads. Forget buying new. Talk to Glen he knows his stuff communication very good too 7
