Greenwood Airvac RF90B
Purchased as a 'direct' replacement for old Greenwood Airvac (earlier model) for which this is supposed to be replacement. There is no doubt that it is a replacement and similar model but at present I haven't got around to fitting as it appears to be a physically larger unit than the existing one. Can't say for sure but I don't think it will fit in the existing hole, however, as it was advertised as being a 'direct replacement' for the model I have I will be very disappointed if it doesn't fit !!
If it is not the same physical size this would mean modifying the hole in the ceiling but perhaps worse if the depth is not the same it will mean new fitments/supports above plus the existing extract hose will need to modified to allow it to fit.
Here's hoping that it does what it says and is direct replacement.

Strimmer Head
Excellent quality head, very sturdy although the 'line' fitted to the unit didn't stand up to the duty and had to be replaced quite quickly i.e. within about 2 hrs cutting rashes. OK rashes are quite tough but thought that the line should have been be up to the task. Probably fine for lighter grasses. I managed to fit heavier duty line so no issues so would probably buy another n due course
