This is a book written in the '70s, however it might have been written last week as it is just as essential as it was when written. Ecological gardening is explained, by people whom i can only describe as having a cheer leader mentality. They get you interested. They tell you how you too can grow your own food using natural, easy methods. They won't take no for an answer, and no excuse will do . no land? they tell you how to get land from co ops to your apartment window.No confidence?They give you confidence, and knowledge. I assure you , you will want to garden. we can all grow. it's fun , educational, and with added benifits of virtually free groceries, wow, what a good book. simple, down to earth , it makes you believe you can do it , it makes you want to do it , and tells you why. i love this book! Every one should make it part of their home library. Gardener, or gardener want to be. Get this book!

one of the best books I will ever own.
This little book is fantastic! After reading only 20 pages I get it! now i know what all those squiggles and types of notes mmean. Just go slowley. read each page carefully and make sure you understand it before you go on to the next . What a great book. Worth its weight in gold.
