A different and underappreciated PTSS
Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome by Dr. Joy DeGruy explores the historical long-term effects of slavery on American society in general and on African Americans in particular. This exploration is concise and, contrary to the schism in much of America over Critical Race Theory and other aspects of the discussion of race, this is a must and should be required reading for anyone wanting to speak truth to various powers that be.
