Best budget shock for traditional V brakes

What can I say? Most new shocks do not cater for V-brakes anymore and this was one of the only branded models out there that still have it. Technically I dont have a choice in shocks. However, this shock beats my old retro Judy SL any day. The amount of travel feels good and the lockout is definitely a plus. I have not opened my shock to see which type of coil is it using but to me it works. Is a shame that most shocks now do not include the rim brake options as I still feel vbrake has their own place and I feel there is less maintenance required. I have tried this for a few rides and I am very happy with it. For its price and quality it is good enough. It includes a star nut so you dont need to buy one.

Daitetsujin 17 is one of the best pieces ever made till date

For those in this line, this version by action toys has pulled off a very good attempt of a gokin d-17. The paint pops and shame on Bandai not even releasing something so simple. Only few down points. I wished swapping of fist wasn't necessary to transform. The feet joints needs to be guided to prevent over stressing the joints or scratching the paint.
