Not just practical and useful, but also FUN..!!
Really works.. and it's fun to use..!! The one-piece spring/handle has the bell-shaped "cutter" at one end, and a little hammer/striker weight at the other end. When the "topper"/"cutter" is held firmly against either end of an egg and the hammer end is pulled back (against the spring tension) and then allowed to strike the bell-shaped cutter, then the cutter will score a circle where it's being held against the egg. Sometimes it might require two strikes to score a complete, cut-through circle. Other times, one good strike is all that's required. Of course, when you strike it twice, you want to be sure that your second strike is positioned (relatively or concentrically) in the same position that it was for your first strike. I know I'm making it sound way, way more complicated than it is. Really, you be good at this in a minute ... perhaps on your first egg. The bell-shaped cutter is not sharp, it works by concussion (the bell edge striking the egg). You won't get cut and this will "top" eggs that are cooked (medium or soft-boiled) or raw. It's stainless steel (the spring/handle is secured to the bell/cutter with two copper rivets), it's easily washable, it's sturdy, durable and built tough. This is an inexpensive and very useful kitchen tool. If you're a gadget junkie and you like eggs, then this will get used often and will reside in a place of honor in your gadget drawer ... or maybe hanging on a cup hook or somewhere that's readily accessible. I bought one and .. after I used it .. I ordered one for my daughter. I'm sure I'll order some for friends, too. This is truly a fun and practical tool ... especially for the price.
PS: I don't know why a couple photos wouldn't load here.

Buy your own money ... Save money..!!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Over a two-year period I've been paying TWC (Time Warner Cable) something like $8 to $10 per month to "rent" this identical modem/router. I am embarrassed to realize that I should have purchased my own modem long ago. Yeah, I wouldn't receive TWC's "service" for free if I had my own modem. But ... and it's a big but ... I only paid $36.00 for this modem on eBay.
I think it's extremely worthwhile to weight purchasing your own modem against renting from your internet service provider. On the unlikely chance that this modem I just purchased should only last 4 months, I will still have saved money.

Tiny, Beautiful and Heavy Duty
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich These little stainless steel salt or condiment spoons are gorgeous. The design is clean and simple. They're small but easy and comfortable to handle, heavy weight (super durable) and polished to perfection. These should last for generations of use. I found them priced super reasonably, so I bought some for relatives and friends.
