Not a Cookbook
What a waste of time, listed under cookbooks. Not about cooking.

Poor packaging, not in a cd case...
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich First the quality of the CD is fine. It's the packaging that I take issue with and I cannot find any mention that the CD comes in a flimsy paper sleeve in the listing. The sleeve split when I tried to remove the CD to play it. it has an inner sleeve, much like an old vinyl record cover which once removed would not go back into the paper CD cover. I am going to have to buy an additional clear CD case to properly protect the CD. For the price and the lack of divulging the cheap packaging I am going with a neutral rating. I won't buy from them again.

A terrible waste of time.
2 von 4 finden das hilfreich I have found this book to be one of the most frustrating books I have ever read. I am very confused about all the hype surrounding this novel. First I must say that I did not live in the 1930's when this book was written and my understanding of life at that time is not extensive, that said, I find her characters to be quite unrealistic. I think she lacked any understanding of psychology and that leaves a lot to be desired in the motivations and actions of her characters. The book is 700 pages long and there was no need for it. 300 pages would have got the point across. Sadly the most frustrating was the constant parade of conflicting dialog from her characters, the multi analogies given to useless points and the most insane of all was the continious use of a kind of bait and switch gadget in her writing style. I watched a documentary about the author and was reminded of the "fame" regarding this book. To me I finished it just to say I did. I will not read her "Atlas Shrugged" as I think it would bring me to suicide.
