Happy ending to a train!
The wheels aren't damaged, the trucks aren't damaged, the body isn't damaged, the couplers work and the paint is good. Viewing the item from one foot or eight feet, it looks like a caboose.

Takes the place of a traction tire.
A little difficult to apply with a Q-tip while wheels are spinning. The Q-tip falls apart. Maybe a small paint brush with short brissels will work better. I stopped the wheels from spinning and just dabbed on the product, now, using a Q-tip, to the wheel surface and repeated the task three or four times until I had the whole wheel surfaced covered. I then applied power to turn the wheels at medium speed for five or so seconds. I let the product dry over-night. For my application, I am using a O-Gauge loco, which has more weight on the wheels. The product may not dry perfectly flat, but with a heavier loco, it works fine. I applied a second coat for even better traction.

Lionel Milk Car Doorframes
Every Lionel operator has a milk car. The car just does not look right without doors/doorframes. The hinge pins on the doors are easily broken by mishandling the car or doors. When the doors come loose, then the door frames need to be removed to re-install new doors. I found a way to repair doors with broken hinge pins by drilling a .025" hole where the broken hinge pin was and installing a tiny nail to act as a hinge pin. The door frames can crack when removing them but can be repaired with super glue. Now, re-install the repaired door(s), install the door spring(s), then snap the completed doorframe back onto the car. You are now ready to deliver milkcans on milkcars with doors! The above repairs are not for the beginner modeler/repairman.
