A Classic Icom IC-in Like-new Condition!
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich This transceiver had756PRO III always been on my radar for an extended time. Up until this time, I was using an IC-756PRO and was pleased with its performance, Unfortunately over time it developed problems, a/k/a death by 1000 cuts and decided to retire it. Fortunately, this 'PRO III was advertised for a fair price. I purchased the unit. It was packed extremely well and arrived quickly. After testing, I placed the unit into service. The unit's sensitivity and selectivity are excellent, in fact I now run the unit with 6 to 12 dB of attenuation. I have also received rave reviews about the transmit audio. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would place this unit as a +25. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

An Excellent Product!

After performing a full charge via a good light source as described in its owner's manual (downloaded from Citizen's website, It performed better than I expected. The cosmetic shortcomings as described in the item's description were much less than I expected. Perhaps for a purist, but for everyday usage, you would need a jeweler's loupe to even observe an cosmetic imperfections. The only item that I am unable to address is the radio control updates of the device. Unfortunately 60 KHz propagation conditions from Ft. Collins, CO and the Eastern seaboard are poor at best, but there are certain times of the year when this required signal are decipherable and at that time the device should update as described.

Excellent Portable Oscilloscope
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I teach a ham radio class and to possess a product of this caliber is a welcome addition to my show and tell demonstration. Being able to interface the device with a data projector will provide the students with the ability to actually experience the phenomenon instead of merely explaining it to them.
