For the price I paid, it's great.

I only paid $4.50-ish for a used copy in excellent condition. Just enough fiction added to well-researched historical details to make this a good listen.

Very good on the ink budget

The main reason to pick up a used Epson 860 is that the ink is very inexpensive compared to the newer models' ink. This printer does not use ink cartridges with chips. Only the black ink needs to be replaced if it's out of black, not the color cartridges as well. Print quality can't compare with the newest color inkjets, but it'll give you a nice 8x10 and very good 4x6 prints.
