BEING A KEEN JOHN WAYNE FAN, I WAS GIVEN ,AS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT, HIS BIOGRAPHY,"DUKE". I READ THAT HIS FIRST FILM WAS " THE BIG TRAIL", AND AS I HAD NEVER SEEN OR HEARD OF THIS FILM, I WAS EAGER TO WATCH IT, AS HE WAS ONLY 23 YEARS OLD WHEN IT WAS MADE IN THE SPRING OF 1930. IT IS IN BLACK AND WHITE,BUT I THOUGHT THIS WAS A VERY GOOD FILM, AND IT COST 2 MILLION DOLLARS TO PRODUCE, WHICH WAS AN AWFUL LOT OF MONEY IN 1930. THE OTHER 3 FILMS I HAVE ,BUT ON VIDEO, SO WAS VERY HAPPY TO BUY THIS COLLECTION. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE VIEWING, THE WHOLE COLLECTION , AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ALL JOHN WAYNE FANS. EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT A JOHN WAYNE FAN, BUT LOVE "WESTERNS" YOU WILL ENJOY THIS COLLECTION. I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND THIS BIOGRAPHY, "DUKE,, THE LIFE AND TIMES OF JOHN WAYNE" IT MAKES VERY INTERESTING READING,REGARDING HIS ACTING CAREER, AND ALSO HIS PRIVATE LIFE, UNTIL HIS DEATH.

Informative reading
Condition is excellent for a 2 nd hand book . Delivery was very fast. Basing stars on this because I havent read it yet, but have read “snippets” on several pages and it seems compelling reading.
