Must-have accessory!
I've been using these for years on all my kits, even non-Pearl kits! They save your hoops and are very durable, I haven't had one fail to do it's job yet.

This cymbal mute works great!
I use this to lessen my hi hat volume when practicing. It works as advertised, but it is important to note that, like all similar products, it does not eliminate the sound, it only dampens it to a manageable level.

Fits more than just Pearl hoops
I had one of these on a Pearl bass drum hoops for over 19 years with no issues. I recently got a Ludwig set and purchased one to protect its hoop. It fit fine, the only issue was with the mounting screw that is included, it snapped off while screwing it in, so be careful not to apply too much torque.
