Very light, amazing in low light

Bought this for my wife to replace her Samsung NX. It's super lightweight and feels solid. In low light this thing is amazing - much better than I expected. Highly recommend for any beginner getting into DSLR or even an intermediate who doesn't need the pentaprism on the 7xxx series.

Good but HEAVY

Can't be beat for the price. Not the best but definitely worth having until you are ready to drop big $$$$ on a "better" one. Very solid - most new cars don't have this much metal, but that also means this thing is extremely heavy. Focusing ring is a bit stiff. Not sure if there is a fix or not.

Good!

Vivitar replacements always seem to last longer than the OE Nikon batteries. I highly recommend them.
