Exactly what I needed for my Ford 4600 diesel tractor
I needed a replacement solenoid for my Ford 4600 tractor and this product was a very easy swap out. It comes with all the nuts and washers for the connection terminals - all you will need is to re-use your mounting nuts & bolts from the old solenoid.
There are two larger positive/+ terminals for the "battery in" and "battery out" to the starter motor solenoid. There are two smaller terminals marked 'S' and 'I'. The 'S' terminal connects to the ignition switch and the 'I' terminal connects to the starter motor bendix.
I had a small issue where the 'I' terminal failed a few weeks after purchase it was replaced under warranty very quickly since it comes with a 12 month warranty.
