I ordered a car drying towel. What I received was a heavily protected textile artifact, clearly mistaken by the seller for either the Crown Jewels or a weapon of minor mass destruction.
This thing came in a box so fortified, I needed a crowbar, a small prayer, and the emotional support of my neighbor to open it. Inside? A towel—fluffy, absorbent, and brand new towel!There was more packing material than in a new TV. At one point I was 40% sure I had accidentally bought plutonium.
As for the towel itself? Chef’s kiss. It drinks water off my car like it’s been wandering a desert. My paint practically sparkles with gratitude. No streaks, no lint—just glossy, dry perfection. Honestly, this towel dries better than my husbands sense of humor at Thanksgiving dinner.
