Dirty but worked.

This of course was a second hand item probably taken from a scrapped car by an oily mechanic, so not surprisingly it was dirty but it worked a treat. I was quoted £409.00 by BMW for a new controller so £150.00 was a good price.

windscreen or headlight washer?

Although this pump is for headlights it can be adapted for winscreen by changing the electrical connection plug. There are three pumps on some BMWs each with a different connection plug. Although the incorrect pump was supplied I made it work!
