app problem
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Phone app would not load on my phone. It seems that the app is not compatible with my phone. I found that out only after a conversation with the help line. That would have been good information before I bought it. They suggested I get a new iPhone or use the pre set programs on the smoker. I didn't want to buy $600 phone so I tried one of the installed pre set profiles (#2). Pretty messy, guess I wont be sending it back now. What should have been an 8hr cook was done in just over 4. I checked the meat with a Char-Broil probe and found the temp to be about 205F at the thickest part. No read out from the smoker probe. The smoker had not shut off. From what I could tell, the temp ranged from about 205 at the top to about 270 where the bottom shelf and temp sensor are. I have ordered parts to convert it a remote control. Maybe I will have better luck with that.
