Battery of my long lost toshiba (which I found a few days ago) seems to fit and looks like it's charging

In its rightful place and looked good.
I spent hours recording my various pieces and according to the meters it was picking up every sound.
I came to play it back; pressed play absolutely nothing. I read and reread the instructions. In the end I plugged it into my my amp. It had recorded everything perfectly well; even my mistakes!
Nonetheless the blues said this had been tested but obviously its internal speaker had not. As I paid not that much short of a new one; I am still rather upset.

Cheap and cheerful. I thought they might match my expensive sunnies that I regularly sit in but alas they do not - nothing like Say Ran.
