Does the job..eventually.

Effectiveness depends on density of wood, your strength, and the number of points you have to push. Glazing points (larger) are less likely to bend than framing points.

Serves the purpose

Useful for 8x10 or larger photos. After 6 mos, no adhesion, dIscoloration, or detachment. Not cheap, but worth it.

Safer than a pedal model

Prop isn't metal, so doesn't have sharp edges. Pedal models have metal rod between legs of child, potentially risky. Only problem with model in photo is lower wing is mounted backwards.
