Hard to Stay Reclined

You really need stomach muscles to keep it at a recline. I even tightened the knobs but it just slowly went back to an upright sitting position. The only way I could stay reclined was to lay flat on my back, completely horizontal. I was hoping it would become my main camping chair but it will only be good for sleeping.
